About Sudesh Jog

Currently, I lead CRM Strategy and Analytics for British Telecommunications plc.

I have been a marketer for some time and have, in previous roles, led direct marketing, developed acquisition and retention campaigns, created loyalty programs and developed brand campaigns. My profile can be found here.

Been round the block, as the saying goes and I am still as excited by marketing as I was on my first day on the job. I am fascinated by every aspect of the alchemy of marketing; understanding consumer behavior, discovering consumer triggers and unlocking barriers to deliver insightful marketing.

I am also very excited by the opportunities offered by new technologies- and in the current role, I feel like a kid in a candy shop. Big data and new CRM technologies offer us unprecedented capabilities for real-time, personalised communication.

I believe in innovation- and that anything can be done better. Hence this blog- to put my thoughts out there, to be read, challenged, debated and, ultimately, to be built upon.
